Privacy Policy

Bed Bugs Fix ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and other applicable laws.

1. Who is the data controller?

If you are a registered company, please update this section with your legal entity name, registered address, registration number (CUI / EIN / Companies House) and VAT ID. We will publish the updated information on this page.

2. What data we collect & why

We only collect what we need to deliver the product and run the site. The categories below are a complete list:

• Order data — name, billing email, country, transaction ID. Purpose: deliver the digital guide, issue receipts, handle refunds. Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Payment data — card or PayPal details are entered directly with our payment processor (Stripe / PayPal / Lemon Squeezy). We never see or store your full card number. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Email subscription — email address (and, optionally, first name) you submit on the free PDF form. Purpose: send the free checklist and occasional updates from Norbi. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link.
• Support communications — emails you send us. Purpose: answer your question. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in customer support (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Analytics data — page views, referrer, anonymised device/browser. Purpose: understand which pages help readers. Legal basis: your consent via the cookie banner.
• Server logs — IP address, request URL, user agent. Purpose: security, fraud prevention, debugging. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retained max 30 days.

3. Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage as described in our Cookie Policy. No non-essential cookies are set until you give consent through the banner. You can change your choices any time by clicking Cookie settings.

4. Who we share data with (recipients)

We do not sell your personal data and we never share it for advertising profiling. We do share it with the following processors, who act on our behalf:

• Payment processors — Stripe, PayPal, Lemon Squeezy or similar (handle the transaction).
• Email delivery — ConvertKit / MailerLite / similar (send the free checklist and order receipts).
• Hosting & CDN — the company that hosts bedbugsfix.com.
• Analytics — only if you accepted analytics cookies.

Each of these processors has a Data Processing Agreement with us and processes data only for the purpose listed above.

5. International transfers

Some of our processors are located outside the European Economic Area (notably in the United States). When we transfer your data outside the EEA, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, supplementary measures (such as encryption in transit) to protect your data.

6. How long we keep your data (retention)

• Order & receipt records — 10 years (legally required for accounting purposes in most EU jurisdictions).
• Email subscribers — until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days.
• Support emails — up to 24 months after the last reply.
• Server logs — up to 30 days.
• Cookie consent record — up to 12 months, then we ask you again.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR (and equivalent laws), you have the following rights at all times. To exercise any of them, email bedbugsfix@gmail.com — we'll reply within 30 days, free of charge.

• Right of access — get a copy of all data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — have your data deleted.
• Right to restriction — pause processing while a dispute is resolved.
• Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to object — to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Right to withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.
• Right not to be subject to automated decision-making — we do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
• Right to lodge a complaint — with your local supervisory authority. In Romania this is ANSPDCP. EU residents can find their authority here. UK residents: ICO.

8. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise your CCPA rights, email bedbugsfix@gmail.com.

9. Children

This website and the guide are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use HTTPS for all connections, store secrets only with our processors, and follow industry-standard practices. No system is 100% secure, but we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting you, as required by GDPR Art. 33–34.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced via email if you are subscribed.
